Returning to Masterpiece for the third year running, Mazzoleni will bring together a selection of works by some of the most significant Italian artists of the Post-War period including Alberto Burri (1915–1995), Alighiero Boetti (1940–1994) and Lucio Fontana (1899–1968). As a particular highlight Mazzoleni will present an extremely rare example from Burri’s Gobbi (hunchback) series. Gobbo Bianco e Nero (1968) is one of only four black and white works in this six-work series made between 1968 and 1969.
