The exhibition ‘Ministries of Loneliness’ curated by Dr. Soik Jungat the Dongok Museum of Art presents Rebecca Moccia’s investigation into the political and social structures that shape loneliness and its perception in contemporary society. For the first time at the Italian Pavilion, the project will be presented in an international exhibition as an expanded transmedial installation, enriched by a site-specific exploration that the artist conducted in collaboration with students from the Seoul Institute of the Arts during her residency in Korea.
The Italian Pavilion is organised by IIC Seoul, Dong-gok Art Museum, and the Bomun Welfare Foundation; it is supported by the Embassy of Italy in Korea, The Bomun Welfare Foundation, and Mazzoleni, London – Torino.
