The exhibition Effimera is an eulogy to the beauty of the temporary, the intangible, the transitory. The works on display reflect the fleeting nature of beauty and the temporality of human existence, challenging the perception of our ever-changing world.

The photographic research of Massimo Vitali (Como, 1944) welcomes guests inside the Presidential Room. Since his beginnings, the artist has brought back a ‘complacent vision of Italian normality’, as Whitney Davis wrote in an essay, revealing at the same time the inner conditions and disturbances of normality: its falseness, sexual innuendo, commodified leisure time, illusory sense of well-being and rigid conformism.
