Mazzoleni is delighted to share the announcement of the release of LUCIO FONTANA, THE FINAL CUT, the documentary film dedicated to the life and work of Lucio Fontana, screening in Italian cinemas on 25, 26 and 27 May.
Produced by Good Day Films and Nexo Studios and directed by Andrea Bettinetti, with narration by Miriam Leone, the film, realised in collaboration with the Fondazione Lucio Fontana, offers a poetic and layered portrait of Fontana’s artistic journey, unfolding across different times and geographies. Through the voices of internationally renowned artists and scholars, together with rare and largely unpublished archival materials including photographs, historical footage, documents and filmed locations connected to the artist, the documentary constructs a rich and immersive narrative.
