The Italian art at the Smithsonian Museum

The Smithsonian Museum of Washington will shortly inaugurate the exhibition Le Onde: Waves of Italian Influence (1914-1971), which will be on until next January. This small exhibition aims to concentrate numerous Italian artistic movements (Futurism, Spazialism, Kinetic Art, Povera Art and Op Art) in a reduced display of twenty artworks proceeding from the permanent collection of the institution. The exhibition is supported by the Italian Embassy and the catalogue, edited by Gangemi, focuses on the work of artists such as: Yvaral, Carlo Battaglia, Enrico Castellani, Lucio Fontana, Giacomo Balla and Giovanni Anselmo.
