Join Mazzoleni and celebrate Mayfair and St James’s art district during Mayfair Art Weekend.
Mazzoleni is delighted to announce the publication of a catalogue to accompany Nunzio’s new exhibition The Shock of Objectivity. The presentation will take place on Friday 28th June during Mayfair Art Weekend at the London gallery. Focusing on the artist’s extensive career, the catalogue includes an essay by curator and art critic Kenneth Baker, and an interview with Nunzio by Jutta Mattern, curator of contemporary art at the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck, Germany. It will also include images of a newly conceived site-specific work Avvoltoio (Vulture) – a dramatic “sculptural island” rising within the gallery space, alongside a selection of combusted wooden sculptures and imposing lead works, that represents the artistic path that Nunzio has followed with meticulous consistency from the late eighties to the most recent years.
A bespoke tour of Nunzio’s body of work, with Alberto Rigoni, Exhibition and Fair Associate, will take place on Saturday 29th June.
