Mazzoleni is pleased to announce its participation in miart 2022, which will be held from 1 to 3 April (VIP Preview: 31 March) within the “ESTABLISHED” section.
The project highlights the experimenting complexity of Italian and international artists belonging to different generations of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
The last century saw the birth of several key avant-garde movements that dominated the Italian art scene. In Italy, the post-war period was especially characterised by a revolutionary approach to painting, which led to the development of innovative artistic experiences.
The display will also feature works by contemporary Italian artists, including Marinella Senatore, Andrea Francolino, Rebecca Moccia, and David Reimondo.
A solo exhibition by Senatore will be presented from June at the London gallery.
On the occasion of miart, on Friday 1 April at 5pm, Marinella Senatore will receive the “Segno d’Oro” Award (“Gold Sign”) from Roberto Sala, Editorial Director of the “Segno” magazine, at Mazzoleni’s booth. The Award is periodically given to artists who stand out for their original research and practice.
