Mazzoleni at Arte Fiera 2025

Mazzoleni is delighted to announce its participation in Arte Fiera Bologna 2025.

For Arte Fiera 48, Mazzoleni presents Transformations, a project that delves into the ever-evolving nature of art, celebrating the distinctiveness of each artistic practice.

Art thrives on transformation, manifesting in myriad ways—shaping inner worlds, reflecting societal shifts, and altering our perceptions of space and time. This journey traverses realms, moving from the tangible to the abstract, from materiality to concept, and from the individual to the collective.

The exhibition begins with works by Giorgio de Chirico and Alberto Savinio, offering a foundation in 20th-century Italian art. It continues with iconic pieces by artists such as Lucio Fontana, Agostino Bonalumi, Enrico Castellani, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Carla Accardi, and Piero Dorazio. From there, the narrative extends to contemporary art practices, showcasing both Italian and international voices represented by the gallery. Among them are Melissa McGill, Marinella Senatore, and David Reimondo, who unveils his monumental work Cromolettere for the first time.

As part of the fair’s programme, the BookCorner will host a presentation on Saturday 8th February, at 2 PM, featuring a monograph dedicated to David Reimondo, published by Silvana Editoriale. The event will include insights from Federico Leoni, David Reimondo, and Milovan Farronato, moderated by Francesca Interlenghi.

The publication provides an in-depth exploration of Reimondo’s body of work, celebrated for its free-spirited and unconventional approach, unconstrained by trends or strategic considerations. Through contributions from seven esteemed authors, the artist’s practice is analysed through multiple lenses, spanning visual arts, philosophy, psychoanalysis, and linguistics.

Contributors include: Ilaria Bernardi, Milovan Farronato, Federico Leoni, Gaspare Luigi Marcone, Andrea Moro, Gianluca Sgalippa, and Federico Vercellone.
