Grand Palais Éphémère | Booth E12
Mazzoleni is delighted to participate in the 2021 edition of FIAC with a presentation of works by Post-War European artists exploring the key emerging abstract languages that took place in Europe following the aftermath of the Second World War. The selection features major works by internationally acclaimed artists such as Hans Hartung, Georges Mathieu and Victor Vasarely.
The booth showcases two of today’s most relevant Italian Contemporary artists, namely Nunzio and Marinella Senatore. Like ancient sculptors did, Nunzio draws his interpretations from raw materials and creates abstract elements which, through a sophisticated process of manipulation create vital energies, new forms and beauty. Meanwhile, the works by Senatore testify of her characteristically strong participatory dimension and constant dialogue between history, popular culture and social structures.
Lastly Mazzoleni takes part in FIAC Hors Les Murs with a lighting sculpture by Marinella Senatore titled “Alliance des Corps”. The installation is representative of Senatore’s participatory synergies characterized by a variety of languages and techniques, in both public and private spaces.
The sculpture will remain installed at the Jardin des Tuileries until the end of October.
