Grand Palais Éphémère | Booth E12
Mazzoleni is delighted to participate in the 2021 edition of FIAC with a presentation of works by Post-War European artists exploring the key emerging abstract languages that took place in Europe following the aftermath of the Second World War. The selection will feature key works by internationally acclaimed artists such as Hans Hartung, Georges Mathieu and Victor Vasarely.
The booth will also feature two of today’s most relevant Italian Contemporary artists, namely Nunzio and Marinella Senatore. Like ancient sculptors did, Nunzio draws his interpretations from raw materials and creates abstract elements which, through a sophisticated process of manipulation create vital energies, new forms and beauty. Meanwhile, the works by Senatore will testify of her characteristically strong participatory dimension and constant dialogue between history, popular culture and social structures.
Lastly Mazzoleni will also take part in FIAC Hors Les Murs with a lighting sculpture by Marinella Senatore titled “Alliance des Corps” inspired by the tradition of ‘outdoor cathedrals’ from Southern Italy.
