Au Départ’s World Movement Continues at Mazzoleni, London

December 2019: Next stop, London. Au Départ, the recently reborn Parisian luxury trunk maker is taking the show on the road. Opening to the public on 11th December 2019 and continuing until 15th January 2020, the newly reimagined Maison will have their trunks and line of leather day bags on display and for sale at London’s Mazzoleni gallery.

The new collection of trunks and bags presented alongside Mazzoleni gallery’s exhibition Hans Hartung and Art Informel aims to further connect Au Départ’s vision to the world of modern and contemporary art. Like a commissioned piece of art, Au Départ’s innovative customization production process can deliver exclusively designed trunks in approximately three months. Guests will also discover a new collection of leather and signature coated-cotton jacquard day bags. The offerings will be housed in a specially curated set by DiMore Gallery evoking Au Départ’s sophisticated and elevated lifestyle. During the month-plus event, Farfetch’s Fashion Concierge will be on hand bringing its most sophisticated clients through the first Au Départ’s temporary brick and mortar space to discover the brand in person cultivating a perfect online – offline cross channel strategy. The event continues the momentum of Au Départs’ kick-off partnership collaboration with Antonia, Milan’s gallery-like fashion concept store, on 28th November.

Following in the new year, Au Dèpart’s journey will include stops in Paris during the Haute Couture and Maison & Objet expo. In early February, Au Dèpart will exhibit at Nomad St. Moritz.
