34th São Paulo Art Biennial – Though it’s dark, still I sing

Mazzoleni is proud to announce the participation of Marinella Senatore in the 34th São Paulo Art Biennialfrom 4 September to 5 December 2021.
Starting in February 2020, the Bienal de São Paulo – Though it’s dark, still I sing took place thanks to both physical and online initiatives and will culminate this autumn with a collective show at the Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion.
An undisputed pioneer within the international artistic panorama, Senatore is known for her participatory practice, for placing the individual and communities at the centre of the creative process. Over the course of more than two decades, she has been the creator of an unprecedented artistic process which focuses on the human relationship between the artist and the communities she involves. Her initiatives have a global resonance all over the world: from Venice to Paris, New York to Johannesburg, São Paulo to Shenzhen; involving more than 6 million people in 23 countries in a multidisciplinary way.
A solo exhibition by Marinella Senatore will be held at the Turin gallery from 29 October 2021 to 29 January 2022.
