Marinella Senatore is among the artists invited to participate in True Colors. Textiles: Motions, Colors, and Identities, a new group exhibition at MAXXI L’Aquila.
Curated by Monia Trombetta, with Chiara Bertini, Fanny Borel, Donatella Saroli, and Anne Palopoli, the exhibition explores the cultural and symbolic significance of textiles. Drawing inspiration from diverse traditions and communities, True Colors highlights the enduring relevance of textiles not only as a means of artistic expression but also as an essential part of everyday life, reflecting personal, collective, and cultural identities.
For the exhibition, Senatore presents a new series of banners created specifically for this occasion.
