Ab Ovo. A journey in the work of Fulvia Levi Bianchi

The Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan is pleased to present an exhibition dedicated to Fulvia Levi Bianchi, curated by Francesca Levi Tonolli and Luigi Pedrazzi.
The exhibition traces the entire career of the artist through her paintings, sculptures and design pieces. From the early figurative works of the ‘60s, still tied to surrealism, switching to the ‘70s and ‘80s where the pictorial language approaches metaphysical art, to the most recent works where the egg archetype becomes the matrix of matter. Free spirit and courageous artist, linked by profound friendship to some of the great masters of the 1960s such as Fontana and Bonalumi, Fulvia Levi Bianchi forges her personal artistic language aimed at revealing the true essence of her subjects through a process of reduction and elimination of the unnecessary.
