Mira Dimitrova new Managing Director

Mazzoleni London is delighted to announce the appointment of Mira Dimitrova as Managing Director. Mazzoleni is one of the world’s leading specialists in Post-war Italian art and Arte Povera and 2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the gallery. Dimitrova will continue to develop Mazzoleni London’s specialist exhibition programme, which has seen dedicated presentations of leading Post-War Italian artists Agostino Bonalumi, Alberto Burri and Piero Manzoni amongst others, since its opening in October 2014. Dimitrova, who joins Mazzoleni from Robilant+Voena where she served as Director, will also work across the gallery’s ongoing fair and sales activity, both in London and internationally.
Luigi Mazzoleni says, “In October 2014 Mazzoleni opened its London gallery space and I am delighted to be able to invite Mira Dimitrova to join us in this new stage of Mazzoleni’s history. I feel fortunate to be able to appoint Dimitrova, whose standing in the international art world reflects the dynamism and creativity of her established career.”
Mira Dimitrova says, “I am excited to be joining Mazzoleni and am looking forward to developing its programme in London and internationally, contributing to its deep heritage in the Post-War Italian field.”
