Alberto Biasi

Alberto Biasi (Padova, 1937) is one of the founders and protagonists of the Padua-based important Italian post-war artistic group Gruppo Enne, and is one of the most coherent and important European optic-kinetic artist. A collective participation and an individual career that permeate one another, but with a specificity that makes his lifelong journey essential for the group he shared with those years (1960-65) of frantic activity: continuity. Starting from 1958 until today, Alberto Biasi’s activity has developed through several work cycles: from the wefts, to the optico-dynamic relief, from the famous torsions to the light prisms, until the Assembly of the 2000s.
